Statement of Faith

Strong belief in the Bible as the inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God. Its truths are known by the illuminative revelation of the Holy Spirit. (2 Timothy 3:16)

There is one God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit.
(Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 5:16,17)

God is the absolute and sole Creator and Ruler of the universe, and creation was by His divine plan. (Genesis 1:1)

In the deity of Jesus Christ as the Son of God, co-equal with the Father. We believe in His virgin birth and sinless life, in the miracles He performed, in His atoning death on the cross and His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory at His second coming. (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John)

The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness. (John 3:16; Acts 3:19, Romans 10:9-10)

Water baptism is an open confession of faith and should be performed after one accepts Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Baptism in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.
(Matthew 28:19)

In sanctification, which enables one to live above the sinful nature of man so that man "might present himself a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God." (Romans 12:1)

In the baptism of the Holy Spirit, with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues, and the operation of His many gifts. (Acts 2:1-4, I Corinthians 12)

In the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

In the sanctity of the family unit, and the importance of loving and committed Christian homes. (Mark 10:7-9
